The App

  • Once you are a fully registered user, the home page of the app has a “New Consent” button that begins the main user flow of the app.

Step 1: Choose a Safe Word. We give you a list of 5 safe words to choose from but you can also refresh the list with the tap of a button.

Step 2: Signing the consent agreement using a Voice Signature. You simply tap record, repeat the sentence that is on the screen, stop the recording and then tap the “Submit Voice Signature” button.

Step 3: Show the QR code on your screen to your partner. Your partner should scan the QR code with their phone and they will be redirected to the QuickConsent app. There, your partner will have to submit a voice signature of their own.

Step 4: Both users can place their phones down and go about their business. Once both partners submit a voice signature the Fly on the Wall feature immediately initiates on both phones. This is an encrypted, audio-only recording of the interaction. No user can ever access this recording. Please read more in the “Why is an audio recording of the interaction necessary?” part of the FAQs.

Step 5: Stop the Fly on the Wall feature. Once complete, both users can tap the stop button on their screens to end the consent interaction recording. That is the end of the main user flow.

  • Yes, you can revoke consent at any time, for any or no reason at all. There will be evidence of you revoking consent thanks to the Fly on the Wall feature that initiates immediately after both users submit a voice signature (establishing consent). Saying the safe word immediately revokes consent but please see our full Terms of Use for specifics.

  • When users sign the Consent Agreement with a voice signature, that only establishes consent. A user can revoke consent at any time, for any or no reason. The encrypted audio-only recording is the least intrusive way to make sure there is evidence of consent being revoked, just like there is evidence of consent being established. Without the audio-only recording, there is no way to know if and when consent has been revoked. But remember, no user can ever access the audio of a consent interaction. It is securely stored on our servers. Users may request their audio if they are involved with an assault by emailing info@quickconsent.app. Please see the “What do I do if I’ve experienced an assault?” and the “What do I do if I am being accused of an assault?” sections of the FAQ.

  • First and foremost, we want you to know we are here for you. We understand how traumatizing an assault can be and how difficult it is for victims to reach out for help. If you can, please send us a message from the Contact Us page of this website or email us directly at info@quickconsent.app . The only information we need is your name, the email address connected to your Quick Consent account and the date the consent agreement was created. When we receive one of these emails from our users the first step is to get in contact with you to make sure you’re okay and to discuss next steps.

  • Current facial & fingerprint software has a major flaw: you can be completely passed out and unconscious while someone uses your fingerprint or holds the phone up to your face to “sign” an agreement. However, with a Voice Signature you must at least be awake in order to sign the agreement.

  • QuickConsent offers users the ability to sign legal documents and therefore, we must do our best to verify you are who you say you are.

  • Premium Protection is a low cost monthly subscription that offers users Identity Protection and Secure Audio Storage for every new consent created. Identity Protection refers to a user’s name being hidden from their partner’s Consent History. Without Identity Protection, your name will appear on your partner’s Consent History when requested. Secure Audio Storage refers to the secure storage of the encrypted audio-only recording of the interaction. We will store the audio securely until the subscription is cancelled. At that time, we offer extended storage options or deletion of all audio.

  • We offer users a very low cost subscription to cover the cost of storing the data on servers. The audio will be securely stored during the duration of the subscription and we offer extended storage options once a subscription has been cancelled. If a user is not interested in paying for the storage of the audio via a subscription to Premium Protection, then we respect the decision of the user and the audio will be deleted.

  • Please send us a message from the Contact Us page of this website or email us directly at info@quickconsent.app . Please include in the message your name, the email address connected to your Quick Consent account, the date the consent agreement was created and we will reach out to you regarding next steps.

  • No. We never ask for your Social Security Number. An earlier version of the app used to ask for the last 4 digits only but we removed that section entirely with v2.0. Anyone that claims we ask for your SSN is simply misinformed.
